Hi. My name is Nina. I am 15 years old and a sophomore at
McKinley High School. I started working at MAP two years ago. I got involved at
MAP through my older sister. She is always doing amazing stuff like working on
the farm and advocating for social justice so I wanted to be involved in my
community too. Working at MAP helped me feel confident in what I do as an
African American Muslim. I started doing more public speaking. Working at MAP
and going to school kept me busy from
all the negativities. MY goal after I graduate high school, I want to go to
college to study nursing because I have always wanted to take care of sick
people. Working with other youth to help our community grow inspires me the
most.
