At the end of each summer program Growing Green takes an overnight trip to Beaver Meadow Audubon Center.
We spend time in the woods pulling up invasive honeysuckle plants.
Everyone had a turn to go canoeing in the pond. For some, this was their first time in a canoe!
In the evening before dinner we played field games.
After dinner groups gave presentations. Specialists shared the work they did during the summer. Teens new to MAP this summer presented their ideas on how to get fresh, healthy food to be sold in corner stores.
