INGREDIENTS (Serves: 4)
3 cups sweet corn
½ tsp. Lemon juice
1 tsp. Garam masala powder
½ tsp. Chili flakes
2 tsp. Butter
2 Tbsp. black pepper
Salt to taste
STEPS
- Wash corn properly and boil them in a pan for 5 minutes;
- Take a wok, keep it on medium heat and melt butter in it;
- After the butter melts, add sweet corn, chili flakes, black pepper, garam masala, and salt to the wok and mix well;
- Add lemon juice in the end and saute well for a minute or two;
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
TIPS
- You can also add finely chopped spring onions, green chilies, lettuce, cucumber, or even add quinoa to make it a bowl!
- If using frozen corn, make sure to thaw and pet dry the corn to prevent extra liquid when cooking.

- Sweet corn contain high amount of insoluble fiber that promote bowel health and may also increase insulin sensitivity.
- Although sweet corn contain higher sugar content, it is considered a food low in glycemic index, which is suitable for people with high blood glucose.
- The carotenoid content from the yellow corn promotes eye health like carrots.
